MARIJUANA PRODUCTION AND POSSESSION CHARGES

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On March 29, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information from a landlord of a possible marijuana grow operation at a rental property. Police attended and located three people in possession of approximately 300 marijuana plants in various stages of growth and growing equipment.

Charged with Possession of a Marijuana over 30 grams is:
- Shilah BRADBURY age 43 of Arran-Elderslie, On.
- Leo ROY age 20 of Hamilton On.
- Valerie BROWNING age 38 of North Wellington On., Valerie BROWNING is also charged with Production of Marijuana.

All three are scheduled to appear at Guelph Criminal Court April 25, 2017 to answer to their charge(s).

BREAK AND ENTER TO HOME IN TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH ON) -On March 24, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter that occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on that date, to a home on Sideroad 3, Township of Wellington North. Unknown suspect(s) damaged the rear door of the home to gain entry.

The homeowner reported returning home to find both front and rear doors to the home open and the house ransacked. The suspect(s) stole cash, a 60" television, jewellery and keys to vehicles.
